Requirements

VACCINATIONS REQUIRED FOR BOARDING, GROOMING, AND DAYCARE:

Bordetella - kennel cough (either 6 month or 1 year accepted)

Rabies (either 1 or 3 year vaccine accepted - regardless of age)

DHLPP (either 1 or 3 year vaccine accepted)

Vaccinations must be given to pet at least two weeks before their visitation, to ensure proper protection AND must be given by a veterinarian.

*Titers for Rabies and DHLPP will be accepted but must come directly from the veterinarian.

*Exemptions will be accepted but must come directly from a veterinarian

PUPPIES & SPAY/NEUTER:

Puppies must complete their initial series of puppy shots (DHLPP series, Bordetella, and Rabies).

Unneutered dogs over the age of 12 months must wait until neutered to return to daycare. Females in heat will not be accepted for boarding, daycare, and grooming.

ILLNESS:

If we notice any symptoms of illness (such as canine cough or other contagious illness), we will notify you to pick up your dog as soon as possible. Your dog will then be removed from the group and quarantined until they are picked up.

FEEDING/MEDICATION:

Keep your pet on the same feeding diet you do at home. If your dog is prone to stress and stomach problems, it is best to provide just rice, boiled chicken, and canned pumpkin diet during their stay to alleviate problems and to avoid a cleanup fee.

Prescription medications must be provided in the original container with the veterinarian's instructions. We can also administer insulin and any other injectable medication your dog will need.

BOARDING:

There is a $50.00 deposit per dog for all boarding bookings. This deposit is refundable up to 48 hours before your dog's scheduled stay.

We charge a DAILY rate rather than a nightly rate, like a hotel (one night is equivalent to two days). All boarding dogs are automatically included into our daycare program, at no additional cost.

To ensure a safe environment for staff and dogs, all dogs entering our facility MUST be dog friendly. Our facility does not have individual runs for dogs to stay in by themselves. All dogs will be put into a group setting for their stay. They will only be in their kennels to eat or to sleep.

PARASITE PREVENTION:

If fleas, ticks, mites, or lice are found on your dog during grooming, the grooming will be finished and your dog will be quarantined, regardless of the stage of the groom.

Immediate pick-up will be required, and a cleaning fee will be incurred.

Your dog must be parasite free for at least two weeks before we can reschedule a grooming appointment.
